1. Scope
These terms describe use of vault.gdw.mx and the GDW Vault application for macOS. By using the website or app, you agree to use them in accordance with these terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using them.
These terms do not replace or expand the license accompanying a software release. Copying, modifying, and redistributing the code or application are governed by the permissions in that license.
If a release does not include an explicit license, these terms alone do not grant permission to copy, modify, or redistribute it.
2. Authorized use
Use GDW Vault only with connections, accounts, devices, networks, and systems you are authorized to access. You must follow applicable laws, contracts, organizational policies, and third-party terms.
Review operations requested by an MCP client before authorizing them. You are responsible for configured connections, selected tools, and the consequences of actions you confirm.
3. Data, credentials, and MCP clients
The app stores connection metadata in local SQLite and passwords and tokens in macOS Keychain. The SQLite database is not encrypted at the application layer, iCloud is disabled, and uninstalling preserves the database and Keychain.
MCP tool responses are delivered to the MCP client you configure. That client may transmit prompts and results to its AI provider under its own terms. Some actions can reveal a secret in chat after local authorization. Review what the client will receive before proceeding.
Keep macOS, the app, backups, and your system permissions under your control. The app’s filters and confirmations are safeguards, not a guarantee that every risky action will be detected or stopped.
4. Third-party services and analytics
The website may link to GitHub, Cloudflare, Google, and other services. The app may communicate with destinations you configure and the MCP client you choose. Those services have their own terms and privacy notices.
Google Analytics 4 is planned for site measurement after the property is configured. Analytics is not active in the current website source. See the privacy notice for its status and conditions before use.
5. Intellectual property and license
The GDW Vault name, logo, and materials belong to their respective owners. These terms do not grant intellectual-property or redistribution rights. Follow the license included with the version you use and respect third-party marks.
6. Availability and limitations
The website and app are provided to support local connection management; they are not legal, financial, or security advice. They may contain errors, interruptions, or changes.
To the extent permitted by law, no guarantee is made that the app will detect every risk, prevent every loss, or work with every system. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated; the latest revision date appears above. For questions about these terms, contact the published privacy contact.
